Upon arrival inspected unit and found freezing temps inside. Inspected blower and blower motor will not change speed. Stuck in low speed. Blower motor will need replaced under parts warranty

Need two guys to pickup AC and pad to put a thicker base of gravel under. Will need to schedule a morning for this job.

Run test unit in cooling mode from thermostat. Delta t of 21F with supply temp of 50F. Refrigerant pressures are within spec. High 275psi with 11F SC, low 115psi with 10F SH. Water flushed outdoor coils to remove dirt and debris. Outdoor fan motor and compressor are operating within specs. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Summer. Regarding concerns of temperature differences between floor levels, recommend closing register ins basement, partially closing som on the first floor in areas that are not used often, make sure all registers on second floorare open, and leaving fan setting on thermostat in ON mode to continuously run the fan. All of these combined will help lower the temperature difference, but it will not eliminate it.

Inspection on basement fan was inconclusive as fan started operating after being removed and inspected, then reinstalled.

No power to the outside unit Found breaker in the tripped off position that looked like it was in the on position. After turning off and back on the breaker reset normal and the system runs normal Cooling mode dropped to 50° supply temperature with 240 volts pulling 9 amps. Refrigerant suction pressure is normal at 112psi. 45/5 power supply is perfect and starting relay is like new All equipment is running in normal condition at this time Thermal scan of breaker box shows normal heat on the AC breaker after 10 minutes of running time Possible power surge or brown out causing the tripped breaker Recommend homeowners consult with electricians if problem persists.
